Local Band ‘Parasia’ Covers It All!
Parasia ready to rock!
Local cover band ‘Parasia’ combines an impressive range of
alternative material, spirited vocals and a mean guitar/drummer combo
into one power packed jam session. After attending their latest
performance at C.T.Peppers in Broad Ripple, I left feeling like I’d
seen Parasia capture the exact sound and feel of 45 different bands.
A new sound for each song played. In the words of an admirer
seated next to me at the bar, “Lead Singer Jojo’s five-foot one-inch
frame maybe small, but her voice isn’t.” Claude Brissart (guitar) and
Don Hawkins (bass) mesh well together. Drummer Scott Stackhouse is
always on point. From start to finish, Parasia stayed strong and
showed no signs of slowing down.
